Top Lodges & Hotels in Beaver Creek, CO
Figuring out where to stay on your ski trip to Beaver Creek can make or break your trip. As frequent travelers to Beaver Creek, it’s the first thing we plan as lodging can fill up fast and prices can be astronomical.
Staying on the mountain is the dream for convenience, luxury and epic views. However, like most we simply cannot justify the wild price points for a single night stay. Planning a ski trip can be stressful simply due to the cost. Staying in a nearby town is one of the best ways to save some money on lodging.
If you are looking for hotels and lodges for a median budget (by ski town standards) then this guide is for you.

Where to Stay in the Beaver Creek Area: Our Experience
When we visit Beaver Creek for our routine ski trips, we like to stay in Avon, which is just a short drive away from the Beaver Creek Resort.
When we first started taking ski vacations we liked to stay at The Christie Lodge in Avon. It’s the most economical spot on our list and a great pick if trying to keep your costs down without staying too far away from the resort. It had all the amenities you’d expect from a large ski based hotel and conveniently located along the shuttle route to the resort. Although the rooms look a little dated, they were comfortable and met our needs.
When we had a little bit more money to spend, we migrated to the Westin Riverfront. It’s still located in Avon, but has a huge perk of having a gondola right out the back door that takes you to Beaver Creek ski resort. The hotel is only about 15 years old, so it’s cozy and modern. We loved having the riverwalk behind the hotel and beautiful views from the hot tubs.
Lodging prices vary widely during the ski season based on dates you select. Expect higher prices during the holidays and towards the end of February into March. You can get the best bang for your buck by selecting dates towards the end of January-beginning of February, which is usually when we try to go!
Below are some of our favorite options that are located steps away from the resort in Beaver Creek or just a short gondola or shuttle bus away in Avon. We’ve included standard single room options as well as a couple of options that are good for those of you traveling in groups with multiple room options.
Best Places to Stay in Beaver Creek
While staying in Beaver Creek can be more expensive than surrounding towns, there are a few options worth noting that can still be achievable price wise depending on your budget.
Pines Lodge
The Pines Lodge is just a short 5 minute walk to the slopes. Whether you are traveling solo, as a couple or a group the Pines Lodge has lodging that fits your needs with standard guest rooms or condos.
The guestrooms feel similar to a typical hotel and the condos have a modern, rustic mountain lodge vibe.
The Pines Lodge also has hot tubs, a year-round pool and ski storage available.

Townsend Place
Townsend Place is more condo-like than your typical hotel rooms. They’ve got a rustic feel to them with a mountain lodge aesthetic. It’s a perfect place to stay if traveling in a group with their two bedroom condos that have tons of room to spread out with a living room and kitchen.
The other major perk is the ski-in/ski-out access available when the Elkhorn Lift is up and running. You’ll also have access to their outdoor hot tubs, parking and a private deck/patio.
Similar to the Pines Lodge, additional discounts are available for Epic pass holders when booking accommodations.

Creekside at Beaver Creek
Creekside is another option nearby that has a variety of 2-4 bedroom accommodations. In the same area as Townsend Place, it also has ski-in/ski-out access via the Elkhorn Lift.
You have to book at least 4 nights and if you are willing to book a non-refundable rate, the prices really are very reasonable for all the space you are getting and the location. The spaces feel more modern than some of the other lodges in town especially if you pay a little extra for the premier residences.
Here you will have access to hot tubs and ski storage, but the pool is only seasonal for the summer.

Park Hyatt
This is the place we’d love to stay at if we were willing to shell out a little more money. It’s located right at the bottom of the slopes, so you can be first on the mountain in no time.
You’re paying for the location here. The rooms aren’t anything out of the ordinary, but were recently renovated in 2025 so you’ll have a comfortable stay with some killer views.
The hotel is beautiful with plenty of places to relax including the outdoor heated pool, hot tubs with a view of the ski lift, firepits, spa, etc.
If you are willing to splurge a little, try utilizing credit card points and/or converting to Hyatt points to try to score an awesome stay.
Best Places to Stay in Avon
Like mentioned previously, staying in a nearby town is often your best bet for finding lower cost hotels.
Avon is a perfect place to stay. Located just a 5 minute drive from the base of Beaver Creek Resort, you are still insanely close to the mountain. This is where we typically stay and have found it to be very easy to get to the mountain.
Westin Riverfront
The Westin Riverfront is probably our top pick. We stayed here on our last visit and loved it. It is an excellent mid-tier option. The rooms look like your typical modern hotel room. We found our room comfortable and updated.
The main draw for this hotel is the gondola right out the back door. While not technically ski-in/ski-out, it’s about as close as you can get and makes this the ultimate convenience. Right after you get off the gondola they have a ski valet so you don’t have to worry about lugging your ski gear back up to your room after a day on the slopes.
The other amenities here are also excellent. We found ourselves migrating to the waterfall infinity hot tubs after a long day, but they also have a heated pool and a huge lobby with places to relax by the fire or the bar. Or go on a stroll behind the hotel along the riverwalk.
The Christie Lodge
The most economical option on this list is the Christie Lodge. We have personally stayed here as well and it is a great option for those looking for a cheaper option while still providing many great amenities. You’ll still find a heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, places to relax nice to a fire and games. Another awesome perk is the free parking that is difficult to come by at most other accommodations.
It’s located in the heart of Avon and is only a short shuttle bus away from the resort. We found that the shuttle came by frequently right outside the hotel and didn’t have any issues.
The rooms here have a typical ski lodge aesthetic and it was super convenient to have a kitchenette available in our room if we wanted to cook.

Final Thoughts
It can be difficult to make a decision, but booking early gives you the best chances to save some money on your stay. You’ll have more dates open to find the cheapest dates plus most places offer discounts for booking early.
You’ll just need to decide if you want to splurge a bit more for a prime location for easy ski-in/ski-out access.
