Kansas City Fine Dining
We’d venture to guess most people will be surprised at the quality of some of the more refined spots in Kansas City. All of these spots are relatively new and have brought something unique to the area.
The Antler Room
Featuring a rotating menu focusing on small plates, The Antler Room has something for everyone.
Tailleur
This French spot has the ambiance you are looking for on a special night out. Their decor features stunning antique pieces and their menu is delightful. We recommend the Coq Au Vin.
Stock Hill
We are a bit snobbish about our steaks, but were pleasantly surprised with our meal at Stock Hill. Their steaks were cooked to perfection and featured some delicious side dishes as well. Located just south of the Plaza the atmosphere is high class and service was fantastic.
Novel
Novel has been a Kansas City staple for more than a decade now. When it opened at its first location just west of downtown in 2013, it brought something new to the Kansas City dining scene and signaled good things were to come. The restaurant has a small but diverse menu to go with a cool atmosphere. Start with the bread service and try out the Sakura Pork Chop as your main course. It’s one of the more unique and flavorful dishes we’ve found in the city.
Triune
Triune is new to the scene and offers an excellent selection of sharable plates that is perfect for a group. The restaurant offers great appetizers like its Crabspingoon dip as well as a diverse selection of shareable main plates. The beauty is you can have a small sandwich along with some pasta and still have room for dessert.
